Fascination on three floors.

The Rosengart Collection Lucerne brings together over 300 Classic Modernist and Impressionist works of art. A circuit of the museum extends over three floors. Experience some inspiring moments surrounded by wonderful art! This Film by Bluepix offers a glimpse inside the Rosengart Collection.

“The building was a stroke of luck. It is almost as if the National Bank had known during construction that it would be turned into a museum some day.”

Angela Rosengart

Architecture

This exquisite collection moved into its new and utterly coherent home in what is a former branch of the Swiss National Bank in March 2002. Previously, the neo-classical building dating from 1924 had been bought by the Rosengart Foundation and carefully converted by the Basel architect Roger Diener. Visitors to the museum will be entranced by the perfect symbiosis between the Collection and its premises.
